Comments: Hey there! After leaving SHS, I spent 2 years at the College of Charleston and then transferred to USC. I received my BA in Political Science in December 1991. I went to Winthrop for a semester pursuing my master's in teaching, but that's when I found my niche...computer software. I worked at Policy Management Systems in Blythewood, SC for about 9 and a half years. I was a business analyst/consultant/project manager. I got a job with MetLife in March 2006 as a Business Systems Analyst for our Long Term Care Insurance product. I am not married (close, though) and I do not have any children (still hoping!). It's good to see everyone. I don't have a 'Then' photo..I tore all those up!

Comments: Hi all! I'm excited to see everyone at the reunion! After a few years of soul searching, I went on to graduate from USC and teach social studies at our alma mater. It was surreal at first, but I loved teaching there. Sometimes I would round a corner and get hit with a memory that made me laugh. We had some great times at that school! I was one of the teachers who opened the new St. James high school in Burgess and came to love the Sharks as much as the Braves! I then moved back to Los Angeles and got caught up in a start up rocket company that I have worked with for the last 3 years. It was a wonderful adventure! There is nothing like watching a rocket that you helped get to the lauch pad take off!! I recently moved to Mobile, Alabama with my boyfriend for another adventure. He's in the Coast Guard and was stationed here, so I came along. I've been working with my CA company still and will soon be job hunting here. Comments: What a wild and crazy story I have.... I am getting divorced for the second time, but have 3 lovely children by my current wife of 11 years. I have worked in many industries, went to many colleges, and finally was able to settle for a college to graduate from (Clemson - BSEE) and have stayed in the telecommunications industry for the past 12 or so years. I live in Simpsonville SC for the second time in my life and love it here. I work for Michelin and responsible for the global telecommunications networks, both voice and data. I travel far too much with an office in Greenville at the North American headquaters off of I-85, and an office in Clermont-Ferrand, France which is the global headqaurters. (yes, most of the stories of the French are true, or at least based on SOME sort of facts). Everyone looks great and seem to have done wonders with their lives. I will instill more at a later date, when I have the time to breathe! Look forward to seeing everyone!

Comments: After almost failing out of USC my freshman year, I went onto graduate in 1991. My last semester, I took a kayaking class. I fell in love with whitewater kayaking and spent the next couple of years working as a professional river guide out west (on the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park and the Kern River in the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains.) While in Alaska in the early 90’s, I realized I was not going to be able to support myself and decided to go back to school. I got a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and moved to the upstate of SC so I could teach and be near the Chattooga River. I met my husband on the Ocoee River in 1995. We married in 1997 and I moved to Atlanta where he owns an insurance agency. In 2003 I received a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy and I currently consult with school districts nationwide in the area of beginning reading instruction. Last year I was elected to the Newton County Board of Education. Listening to the discipline hearings makes me thankful I never really got in any serious trouble in high school... which was a miracle! My husband and I have a six year old daughter, Emilyann, and a three year old son, Griff, and of the things I have done, being a mother is the most wonderful. My parents moved from the beach the year I got married so I haven’t been back since our 10 year reunion. Hope all is well with you and yours!

Comments: Greetings from Verdigris, Oklahoma. It's a small community outside of Claremore. I've been living here for the last 16 years. My husband Joey is a Homicide Sgt. with the Tulsa Police department. I'm currently working for a local car rental company in their International Accounting department. I have 2 step daughters Sarah, 19 and Stephanie, 16. Joey and I have been married for 8 years now and we welcomed another daughter, Samantha, in 2000. I hope to attend the reunion this year. I have been married for 11 years now to my beautiful wife Laura. We have been blessed with two healthy children, Kendal (Son) 7 and Katherine 3. After graduation I reported to The Citadel for the free haircut and delicious meals! Had several SHS grads down there as well :-) After surviving El Cid and receiving a B.S. in Computer Science/ Mathematics I hung out in Charleston, SC (love and miss it still...) After growing weary of commuting to Winston-Salem, NC for 3 months I decided to move to Charlotte, NC. I have been in Charlotte for about 13 years now. I have been doing computer integration and consulting work ever since college. After leaving Cisco Systems I decided to do the entrepreneur thing. That worked out pretty well, as my partners and I grew our company and sold it. Afterwards I started a consulting company and have been doing that now for about 3 years. I hope everyone can make it to the reunion!
